Texas Careers, Lubbock campus is located in a two-story, air-conditioned building. Our classrooms are designed to give you as much hands-on experience as possible. You'll find equipment relevant to your chosen course of study, and have the opportunity to use it just as it is used in the workplace.
We provide resource information in the classrooms and other specified rooms. Resource information includes periodicals, texts, and books on various subjects taught at Texas Careers. You can also access the Internet on our computers for additional information and research.
In keeping with the high educational standards of Texas Careers, the equipment used in each program offers you the opportunity to develop a practical working knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials you may encounter on the job.
- Students in the medical clinical courses use instruments including autoclaves, centrifuges, electrocardiographs, and other items found in a medical setting.
- Students in the Electrical Technician Diploma program use equipment including electrical boards, connectors, plugs, terminal jumpers and wires, mounting channels, and other tools and materials associated with electrical work.
